There is a collision shop located on State Road 167 in Richfield WI, and while it looks like a run-of-the-mill collision repair center, there is so much more than meets the eye. Laubenheimer’s Collision Center began its journey in 1952, under the name Bresson A-1 Auto Body, and was founded by Cyril Bresson. As a member of the Richfield Volunteer Fire Department and President of the Lions Club, Cyril was a man with community well-being at the heart of everything he did. And while the stone's of this collision center wasn't laid until 1956, the foundation of this enterprise was set in Cyril's mission as soon as he began his auto body service.
Small town, family-run, and community-catered-to business is what he had in mind, and when he passed along his center to a new owner, in 1977, this tradition was maintained by Richard Weigel. Later, Richard sold the center to Todd Reinke and his family, who own and operate it to this day. With each new owner, the dedication to family, community, and service remained just as true as Cyril had intended when he first saw to opening the business.
When you visit Laubenheimer’s Collision Center, you will find a surprise rooted in those who are about to assist you with your auto body work. Three technicians work there today - Mike, Ben, and Randy and if you ask them about the center they can both tell you that it is truly a family business and community oriented. Dale's dad, Richard Weigel, and Ben's dad, Todd Reinke, taught their son's the importance of quality work and community care - a tradition that they have certainly taken to heart with everything they do.
